CQC Outcomes
We have worked hard to maintain our 'Good rating' since 2019. With our last review taking place in July 2023. It is our mission to ensure we meet this standard on all aspects of care for the benefit of our residents and staff.

On a personal note, i would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their continuous support and hard work.

We look forward to working with CQC as they role out their new Single framework, this enables them to track our homes progress more regulalry without large inspections. We will be asking families and friends for more feedback and look forward to growing each year.

Important Update: Company Transition and CQC Registration

We would like to share an update with all families, friends, and loved ones connected to Laureston House Residential Home.
Over recent months, Laureston House has been completing an administrative transition from Laureston House Ltd to GM Care Home (Dover) Ltd. This change became necessary due to personal circumstances within the Roberts family, as Kevin’s father has now moved into a care home. As a result, Kevin Roberts is now the sole proprietor of Laureston House.
We want to reassure everyone that there has been no change to the way the home is run.
Our values, standards, routines, and approach to care remain exactly the same. All staff continue in their roles, and the day‑to‑day running of the home is unchanged. The wellbeing of our residents remains our highest priority.
As part of this transition, we have been awaiting our updated registration from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are pleased to confirm that our CQC reregistration was officially approved on Monday, bringing this process to a close.
We would be grateful if families could take a moment to share their experiences of Laureston House with the CQC. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps demonstrate the positive impact we have on residents’ daily lives.
